Dance Storytime!

Mondays, 11:00am

Step into the world of dance with Dance Story Time! Through dance and movement, students develop social and emotional skills such as how to express and recognize emotions, create and tell stories, and work as a team in a creative environment. Our weekly class always begins with a dance story book reading that promotes literacy, mental wellness, physical health, and growth mindset. These themes will then be explored through dance activities, games, and the learning of creative movement and dance choreography. 

 

Dance Workshop for Beginners 

Mondays, 12:30pm

This dance program is designed to explore various dance techniques, concepts, and choreography across multiple movement styles. Students will immerse themselves in a diverse array of music genres to enhance their rhythm, musicality, and expressive capabilities. The carefully curated music selections will support their development in these areas while fostering an appreciation for different genres. Participants will collaborate to learn engaging and straightforward choreography, along with the opportunity to create their own unique dance pieces.

 

 

Introduction To Musical Theatre 

Mondays, 1:30pm

Dive into the world of musical theatre with 'Introduction to Musical Theatre.” This program introduces students to dancing, singing, and acting through engaging theatre games, singing lessons, and the learning of ensemble production numbers. Through the creative process, students build self-confidence, learn the importance of teamwork, and experience the joy of learning musical theatre with their peers!
